Why people ask us about NAD+

People look into NAD+ for different reasons. These are reasons to ask, not promises of an outcome. A physician decides whether it is appropriate for you.

Tired in a way sleep does not fix
Seven or eight hours and you still wake up drained. Coffee never quite touches it.
Optimizing, but plateaued
You train, eat well and track your biology, and you have hit a ceiling you cannot out-discipline.
Proactive about how you age
You would rather support the biology now than manage symptoms later, and you want it done as medicine, not as a wellness add-on.
Curious about IVs, allergic to the chair
You have looked at NAD+ drips and cannot justify a half-day in a clinic at $400 to $900 a session1. You want the molecule without the appointment.

How it works, including the parts where the answer is no

A physician sits in the middle of the process and can stop it.

  1. 01

    Start the online evaluation

Two quick questions, your state, then the medical questions, one screen at a time. About 5 minutes.

If an answer rules treatment out the preliminary safety screen tells you right away. The evaluation is not completed, so it does not go to a physician; your answers are kept on file, and no card is collected.

  2. 02

    Physician review

A U.S. licensed physician reviews your evaluation and decides whether treatment is appropriate. Not everyone is approved, and you will hear back either way.

If you want to talk first You can ask the physician to speak with you before anything is approved or charged. Approval waits until that conversation has happened.

  3. 03

    Approval and charge

Nothing is due when you submit. Your card is saved and charged only if the physician approves. If you are not approved, you are not charged.

  4. 04

    ID check, then the pharmacy

A secure link to upload a photo ID; a person checks it before anything ships. Your prescription then goes to the licensed pharmacy, which compounds it for you.

  5. 05

    Delivered, then followed up

Medication ships cold-chain from the licensed pharmacy. Refrigerate it as soon as it arrives. About 30 days in, you receive a text with a short check-in questionnaire. About every 90 days, the physician re-evaluates you with a more detailed one before treatment continues.

What NAD+ is, and why it is prescribed as an injection

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme your cells use in energy metabolism, and the amount your cells carry declines with age.

Kesbury’s prescribed NAD+ is administered subcutaneously rather than by IV infusion. Your physician sets the dose and titration instructions on your prescription.

It is a compounded medication, prepared for you by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy when a physician prescribes it. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

How it is taken: A small subcutaneous injection, three times a week. Your prescription carries the physician’s dose and titration instructions; you follow them at home.

At home, not in a chair

Three small subcutaneous injections a week, on your schedule, with the supplies to take them. The dose is the one on your prescription.

Mechanism, not a result. NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism. This diagram explains its biological role; it is not a claim about how you will feel or what treatment does.

Safety, said plainly

Common and usually mild

  • Mild redness or soreness at the injection site, usually settling within hours
  • A brief flushing or warmth shortly after injecting
  • Mild, passing nausea, more likely when injecting too quickly
  • Occasional short-lived lightheadedness, usually tied to injection speed

What the physician does about it

  • A U.S. licensed physician reads your full history and screens for contraindications before prescribing
  • Your prescription sets a starting dose and how it steps up; you follow it rather than guessing
  • Compounded by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy, not sourced from grey-market suppliers
  • You can message through the secure patient portal. Kesbury Health is not an emergency service. If you think you are having an emergency, call 911.

NAD+ questions

How is NAD+ taken?

As a small subcutaneous injection you give yourself at home, three times a week. Syringes and alcohol swabs arrive with the medication, and the injection guide on this site walks through the technique. Your dose is the one on your prescription.

What dose will I be on?

The physician sets it. Your prescription carries the physician’s dose and titration instructions. You follow them at home. A re-evaluation follows about every 90 days, and the prescription can change then.

How is this different from an IV drip?

An IV requires repeated clinic visits at a per-session price of $400 to $9001 and a half-day each time. Physician-prescribed subcutaneous NAD+ is one monthly price, taken at home, with a physician who reviews your case and re-evaluates it.

Is NAD+ FDA-approved?

The NAD+ we prescribe is a compounded medication prepared by a licensed U.S. pharmacy and prescribed by a physician when clinically appropriate. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Who is eligible?

Adults who live in one of the 10 states where the physician is licensed, Alabama, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas, and whom the physician approves after reading the evaluation. The evaluation confirms your state before the medical questions.

Can I add labs?

Yes, if you want them. Labs are optional. If you add the $129 Longevity Lab Panel, it is charged with your first month only if a physician approves. The Quest Diagnostics draw is included.

Is there a contract?

No. Cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. No proration. There are no cancellation fees.

What if the physician decides NAD+ is not right for me?

Then it is not prescribed, and if you are not approved, you are not charged. A real evaluation means some people are not candidates; you are told the reason category, not a diagnosis.

How is this different from a med spa?

A med spa or IV lounge is usually a per-session visit. Kesbury Health is a physician-owned telehealth practice: the physician decides on your case, the dose is written on your prescription, and a re-evaluation follows about every 90 days, with no clinic visits.

Is my health information private?

Your evaluation answers are protected health information, handled on HIPAA-compliant systems and workflows. They are never sold or shared with advertisers, and the evaluation pages run no advertising pixels.
